Blachford's 2008 winter escape weekends - From $1135/Person/Weekend

Blachford Escape Weekends include shared cabin or lodge room accommodations with full housekeeping, air charter from Yellowknife (Friday and Sunday), all meals and snacks,and use of lodge facilities and equipment, including: hot tub, sauna, snowshoes, skiis, etc. Snowmobile rentals and dog sled rides are also available at an additional cost.

Enjoy Blachford’s mouth-watering gourmet delicacies all weekend! Together with a skillful pairing of old and new world wines, you will experience some of the finest dinners ever to come out of our kitchen! Venture out on cross-country skiis, snowmobile or dog sled,or relax in the wood fired sauna or hot tub, surrounded by northern lights.

Dog Mushers - March 14-16

Local Mushers can mush to the lodge from Reid Lake with their own teams. Family, friends or dog mushing enthusiasts can travel in via our regular air charter from Yellowknife. The weekend will be filled with fun rides, demonstrations and a sled dog “movie nite”. Not for the “un-doggy”.

Arctic Winter Games - March 16-18

With the games officially ending March 15, why not extend your northern experience and visit our remote lodge? View Aurora Borealis from our famous outdoor hot tub after enjoying skiing, snowshoeing and ice-skating. Revel in fabulous meals prepared by our gourmet chef, and enjoy our extensive wine list. Extra options include dog mushing and snowmobiling.

Ice Fishing Derby - April 4-6

Join us for the ultimate spring competition! Arrive by skiplane or by snowmobile. Fish for lake trout, pickerel and northern pike while you bask in the spring sunshine, vying for valuable prizes. Ladies Spa - April 11-13

Relax in the spring sunshine after sessions on stretching, relaxation, reflexology or aromatherapy. Includes a 45 min. massage. Take advantage of our many outdoor activities, lounge in the hot tub, relax in the sauna, and sing by the campfire. Aesthetician treatment is available at an additional cost.
